1979 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Description

1979 Pontiac Trans Am, project car, runs, drives, solid body.
Very rare Paint Code 51 Sundance Yellow car with the OEM paint.
This is a project car. I do not know the entire condition of the T/A, but will list what I know. I will add more photos this weekend. I will be adding photos and updating this Saturday evening. I will not be back to the shop until Saturday to check out the car more.

To the best of my knowledge the Pontiac 301 is numbers matching but will confirm.
The paint is factory OEM. For those of you in the Eastern USA, this T/A has not experienced road salt winter after winter.
The car runs and drives but is not roadworthy. Someone put in a start push-button in the lower dash. There is also a brake issue..but this is a project car.
The T/A will need a new trunk pan; there is a rust hole on top of the rear panel above the tail lights and I will provide an OEM rear panel patch. The quarter panels are solid despite this being a common 2nd gen problem; to the best of my knowledge the floor pans are solid but cannot state for positive. There are some small dents in the driver's door and driver's quarter panel. The car spent most or all of its life in Southwest Oregon where it is a dry climate.
Coupe top has been cut and a sunroof installed. Also some bondo covering what appears to be hole incurred for a CB or other antenna behind the sunroof.
The interior will need complete restoration. The original front seats are missing and it appears to have 3rd gen Camaro bucket seats that are in core condition. All the plastics will need replaced and the dash pad has cracks. The rear seat appears to be an OEM deluxe seat but I need to look again.
Shaker and shaker air cleaner are intact. Sway bars are intact. To the best of my knowledge the original drum posi is still on the car.
T/A is sold as-is, where-is, with no warranty express or implied including merchant-ability or fitness of use. This is a project car that needs repairs.
I will update posting this weekend. If you are OK with the limited info and one photo and want to grab the car before someone else that is up to you. I cannot possible know the entire condition of the car. Please send your representative to inspect it.
This is a nice looking project Trans Am and is a rare factory color.
