2006 Pontiac GTO Description

This is a verynice, rust free, never been wrecked 3-owner GTO originally from the South. Never driven in the wintersand rarely driven in the rain (by me anyway). Car is very quick and fun to drive, just have a few other projects that I would like to do and this car just sits most of the time. I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere, it has been very reliable, never gets hot even in summer traffic. Here is a list of the modifications:

Engine (Mods done in 2011-2013 timeframe, less than 5,000 miles on engine)

-New GM LS2 Block Honed w/ Torque Plate (4.005" Bore)

-Zero Decked

-Line Honed w/ ARP Main Studs

-Mahle Flat-Top Forged Pistons w/ Coated Skirts and Plama Moly Rings

-GM LS2 Roller Timing Set

-Callies 4340 Forged Steel Crank, 4" Stroke (internally balanced)

-Callies 4340 Forged Steel H-Beam Rods, 6.125" Long w/ ARP 2000 Bolts

-Bullet Racing Hydraulic Roller Cam, Duration @ 0.050" 242/249 Lift 0.650/0.650 on a 112 LSA

-PRC 237cc CNC Ported Heads, 68cc Chambers, PRC 0.675 Lift Spring Kit, Bronze Guides

-Yella-Terra full Roller Rockers (Have nearly a spare set due to a broken pushrod cup)

-Comp 42 lb/hr Injectors

Brakes/Suspension:

-BC Racing Model BR Adjustable Coil-Overs Front/Rear (Less than 1000 Miles on these parts)

-EBC Stage 4 Brake Pads/Rotors (Less than 1000 Miles on these parts)

-18" Breyton Race GTS Wheels inBlack Satin (245/40ZR18) (Stock 17" Wheels/Tires Included too)

Outstanding Issues:

Vehicle needs new tires for the 18" Breyton Wheels, Stock rims/tires are included and have decent tread. There are scratches in the clearcoat on the passenger side front of the quarter panel, they will definately come out with wet-sand/buff. One of the Breyton rims needs refinished due to a failed break pad that deposited metal dust on the rim (unfortunately thishappened on one of the few times I drove the car in the rain, the hot metal from the rotor/pad backing stuck to the aluminum rim. It is slowing flaking off, there is likely a way to clean without refinishing but have not investigated?)(See photo). The syncro for 2nd gear is going bad and does not allow power shifting, it shifts fine for normal driving. The original owner removed the brace that mounts in the trunk behind the gas tank (assume for weight savings?). I have sourced a new one but the felt liner that covers this brace is missing, shouldn't be too hard to find one, just never tried. Lastly, the tops of the rear seatbacks need restitched (this is very common problem with these cars and not a difficult fix).
