1963 Pontiac Bonneville factory Tri-Power
1963 Pontiac Bonneville Description
1963 Pontiac Bonneville, PS,PB,AT,AC, Safe-t-track (Limited slip differential), 3X2 carburetors numbers matching car. The mileage looks correct comparing the odometer to the service records (door jam decals) and it runs very well but no guarantees. I rebuilt the carburetors, replaced all the hoses, tuned it up (AC plugs, wires, points, cap etc.) replaced all of the brakes (shoes, brake lines, wheel cylinders, master cylinder) new gas tank, new fuel pump, fuel lines, new alternator, new radiator, new battery. The tires are excellent. everything works (horn, lights, dome lights, gas gauge, signals, radio, rear speaker, etc.) except the clock, AC and Heater (the vacuum lines are not there) The last time the car was registered was 1992, I have driven it on near by back roads and it drives very well. Its issues:it spent its life in Davenport Iowa so there is rust, The trunk has rust through as well as the rear quarter panels and both front fenders(small holes next to the doors (see photos), the frame has been repaired from rust, I believe a different frame should be considered. The condition of the frame would be the major issue, I believe the car is worth restoring, it runs and drives, its all there including the tripower air cleaner and the protecto plate, the Hydra Matic shifts just like it should. I spent a lot of time and money getting it going and I don't expect to recover what I spent, I would just like to see it go to someone who would appreciate it and restore it.I have tried to be as accurate as possilbe but if you have questions please ask. I would be willing to negotiate transport a reasonable distance.$300 deposit and the balance in CASH upon pick up. Please note that its only for sale to a US buyer, I can't figure out now to remove the "sells to" Thanks
