1979 Pontiac Trans Am with build sheet included! Runs and drives excellent! WOW!
1979 Pontiac Trans Am Description
You are looking at a 1979 Pontiac Trans Am That Is Relisted Due To Non Paying Buyer! This car is a great driver! I would hop in this car and go anywhere with it how it sits...It turns heads everywhere it goes and is a lot of fun...It is not a perfect show car...It looks great from a few feet away but when you get up close there are flaws...still a sweet ride regardless!
The engine is not original. It has a 350 v8. The car runs and drives great. Always starts right up, no issues with running hot, Transmission shifts perfect, just a great driver how it sits!
The interior is in great condition, new rugs, new sill plates, rip free seats and door panels, all gauges work, headliner in great shape...rear quarter plastics and window surround are not perfect...like all gm's this era the plastic is deteriorating. Overall the interior shows really well!
The body and paint looks great from a few feet away however when you get close there are some bubbles on both doors. The front nose cone and right fender are a shade off in color. I'm just trying to describe as honest as I can...take a few steps back and the car looks incredible!
The undercarriage is virtually rust free...the frame and rear shackles are in good condition. The only rust is on the passanger floor towards the front and a very small spot on the front drivers floor...both relatively easy fixes...totally drivable how it sits...just want to be as honest as I can...I discovered the holes in the floor when I replaced the rugs.
I have videos of the car if you text me I can send them 1-203-592-2478 . The car is located in Wolcott Ct 06716 I would be happy to show anyone who wants to inspect prior to bidding! I have this car advertised locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early. I will release the car once my bank says that payment has cleared. Buyer is responsible for transport and pickup. Good luck
