1962 pontiac catalina with Ventura interior, 8-lug wheels and a 4 speed
1962 Pontiac Catalina Ventura Description
Hello everyone. This is my 1962 Catalina that has 63,003 miles on it. This car started out in life as a 389 2bbl automatic then converted to a 4 speed by a previous owner using the correct pedals, bars and crossmember using a borg warner super t10. The exterior has its flaws. The left front fender has been dented up pretty good and has rust near the bottom in the typical area. The left rear quarter has rust in front and back of the tire on the arch. The right rear quarter has rust behind the rear tire. Right door has a dent and the right front fender has the typical rust on the bottom as well. The doors, rockers, trunk floor and floors are rust free. This car probably has the nicest all original interior you will find anywhere. It is original from headliner to carpet and zero cracks in the dash and a beautiful steering wheel. Even has the original floor mats in excellent condition. The 389 runs great and strong I have added a p4b edelbrock intake and a Edelbrock carb with a manual choke. I drove it 6,000 miles last year and it never ran over 180 degrees. The options on this car is Ventura Tri-tone interior, Map light, Dual speaker, Power antenna, Magi-Cruise, Tissue dispenser, trunk light, and the 8 lug wheels. All of which are original to this car. The only mechanical faults are the brake booster going out so I have it disconnected and the transmission crossmember bushings are weak. It also leaks some oil from the rear seal. The idea was to fix the cosmetic issues and blend into the original paint to make a great survivor, driver but we all know sometimes plans change. It will come with the original valve covers, air cleaner for the 2bbl, remote mirror, original radiator and fan, and 2 spare 8 lug rims. It will not come with the air cleaner shown in the pics. This Catalina will be bought as/is no warranty and there no returns on this item. Buyer will have full responsibility for shipping. free to ask any questions and Happy Bidding!
