1969 Pontiac GTO GTO Convertible Description

Here is a beautiful Black on Black GTO Convertible with Pearlescent White Interior. I was told it was the original numbers matching engine that was rebuilt before I purchased it. It runs great, very quiet, no noise, no smoke and will burn the tires at will. The car has not been driven hard as I am 75 years old, partly the reason for selling it.

The car is equipped: new power convertible top, Power disc Brakes, Power Steering, working AM Radio, BFGoodrich 60 series raised white letter tires, Rally wheels with chrome trim rings, The complete Bucket Seat interior including top and interior are like new,the two stage Black finish has been cut polished and hand waxed- no dents, scratches or dings. The front, rear bumpers as well as the rocker moldings are new. The car is rust free with no rust out or rot outs and still hasall of its original panels.

The car is registered in my name and I have owned the car for 7 years while it was being restored and has been garaged since. Due to the age of this car 47 years old it is being sold as is and where is with no warranty. I encourage any prospective buyer to inspect the car or have his representative do so before bidding. You can contact me through ebay and receive a prompt response, text or call me at 559 355-3551. Thank you for reading this rather lengthy posting .... now just look at the pictures. If you want any other pictures do not hesitate to contact me.

After receiving several phone calls regarding the Black/Black on White interior I decided to add to my post. The original color of the car was Expresso Brown with Gold and black interior which I did not like so I decided to do a color and interior change. Here is how that was done. The entire interior and top were removed from the car. The Doors, Trunk, Hood, tail lights, grille were removed from the car. At that point the Car and all its components were painted with two stage black base coat and clear finish.... they were cut, polished and waxed and then the car was reassembled. The painting included the top bows and the entire floor. No Brown shows at all anywhere. As to the interior the Seat Covers, Door Panels, top boot, were ordered in the correct pearlescent white finish. The upholsterer installed the top, the carpet, the kick panels as well as the rest of the items that I had ordered. A new dash cap topper was ordered and installed. All new weather stripping as well as the window felts were installed. A new trunk mat was placed after the trunk was painted with the splatter paint which is correct to this GTO. Disc Brakes were installed as were 15" Rally Wheels with trim rings. I never intended on selling this car but due to a recent purchase of a my first love of a 1965 Riviera Gran Sport, I need the room as it is due to come from the upholstery shop next week. Good Luck bidding. Paul
