1999 Porsche 911 Description

Here is a 1999 Carrera Cabriolet with 120k miles. The car looks, runs and drives well and would make a great entry level 911, how much longer these car will remain this affordable I don't know. The car was previously owned by a friend of mine who wanted to buy a newer Porsche. This car comes with a huge folder of service records showing extensive maintenance through the years. Exterior wise, the paint is in good condition. The body is very clean and doesn't show any nics or dings. Overall I would have to say it's about a 9 out of 10 but will call it an 8.5 to be safe. Carfax shows previous front end collision but you can not see any signs of damage, must have been minor. Convertible top is in nice shape with no rips or tears and rear window is clear. Power top function is not working, I am not sure what is wrong with it.

The interior is in nice condition. Many improvements were made, custom floor mats, door panels recovered with leather and lower carpeting replaced. Center console cover recovered. The factory carpeting is in very good shape with no rips or tears. All 4 windows work and the car has a brand new windshield. The AC blows cold and climate control works well. All gauges work as they should. Has nice Kenwood Stereo with CD, Aux and USB input. Comes with 2 keys and keyless entry and alarm works well. This is a non smoker car and has no odd smells!

Mechanically, the car runs and drives well. The engine runs smooth and has recently been serviced and received a new 02 sensor and Evap Leak repaired. It comes with a huge book of service receipts as well. The transmission shifts very well and has no grinding or popping out of gear. The ebrake works and the brakes are in good condition. Tires are about 50% on the front and 20% in the rear remaining. The car steers well and drives well.
