1968 912
1968 Porsche 912 Description
1968 Porsche 912 SWBSelling a very solid actual milage 912 #12802775. Had this car for a while but must sell due to health. (Cancer sucks!)I am not claiming the car to be "restored", just maintained and repaired along the way. Can not state for sure if it's a matching number car, never sent for the COA, but the engine #1282589 is also a 68. The receipt I have from the prior owner for the engine rebuild does have the serial number of the engine in the car. Runs and drives great, stops on a dime, and a fun car. Ready to go, drive today. Paint is about 10 years old and has some chips and scrapes. Original color was 6808 Burgandy. I DO NOT have any photos of the car prior to my purchasing it. I DO NOT know if or what body work may have been done. In review of the photos, note there is a stinger pipe I had made and is a hit at any car show. Simply unbolt the new muffler and bolt up the stinger. The car is currently in tribute to the 1968 Monte Carlo Rally win by Vic Alford. The stickers can be removed by the new owner if you choose. Here are some highlights;Engine rebuilt by The Kaferhaus at 53K milesWeber carbsNew tires F560 Firestones from CokerNew NAPA batteryNew door sealsNew Perlon carpet kitNew fuel tankNew Sebring exhaust from EcklersNew Autopower roll barNew driver & passenger front seatsNew four point seat beltFive speed 901 gear box #90130110102There are no spare parts that come with the car.
