1968 Porsche 912 Coupe Description

Here we have a 1968 Porsche 912 VIN 12802655 that comes with engine 1283341. The 912 has risen in price over the last few years, riding the wave of it's pricier cousin, the 911. This car maybe a good shot at getting into a project that you thought you might have been priced out of. The car has rust so please look closely at all the pictures to get a good idea of how much rust repair the car will need. One really cool thing about this car is the paint code is 62163, which is a special order color of Leaf Green, so when restored this car will stand out at the show when parked against all the red and silver 912's. The other good news is the fenders and front bumper won't rust, because they are fiberglass, so that's a good amount of the outer body that you don't have to worry about welding on but you will have plenty of rust repair with the rest of the car. Also, please note, and this is important, the car has no title, I repeat NO TITLE, it will come with a Notorized Bill of Sale, which is legal in NY, this can be converted in most states into a title, but you won't be getting a title from us. The car is also missing lots of little parts, so if you don't see a part pictured, it isn't included. Also of note, the windshield has a crack. That's the bad news, the good news is this is an early Short Wheelbase Porsche that is offered at a good price, so if you have dreamed about restoring a Porsche and thought you had missed the boat, well this might be your day. Don't miss out!
