2004 Porsche 911 40th Anniversary Description

Hello all Porsche lovers, up for sale is a 200440thAnniversary911 #0165 out of 1963 units:
Exterior is painted in GT Silver metallic ($3k standard option) that was only available on this Anniversary edition and Porsche's supercar the Carrera GT. Styling features include the larger front bumper from the 911 Turbo/C4S with 3rd front radiator (with intake grilles painted body color) special extended sill trims found on GT3, 18 inch polished Carrera alloys and polished exhaust tailpipes with PSE exhaust valving so you can have the exhaust note quieter or more visceral. A sliding sunroof, bi-xenon headlights with dynamic beam angle control and cleaning system.

The engine has been upgraded from the factory with a X-51 power-kit with a power output of 345 bhp ($13,500 standard upgrade) includes modified cam profiles, porting and polishing of cylinder head, higher flow intake and exhaust manifolds, re-mapped ECU, extra windage trays in the dry oil sump to prevent oil starvation on high G-force turns. A specially adapted version of the ten millimeter lowered sports chassis and the addition of a L.S.D (LIMITED SLIP), resulting in even better traction. Porsche Stability Management (PSM) supports the improved power and handling.

The interior features expensive soft dark natural leather and includes sport seats, with seat heating, areas painted in GT-Silver include the center console, groove trim strips on the dashboard and the handbrake lever side covers.The instrument dial covers are painted in sport silver. There is also Porsche’s stereo “Sound Pack” upgrade, with a 6-disc CD radio (CDR 23) with BOSE speakers are also fitted as standard and this car has Navigation Option.
Always Porsche dealer serviced with Mobil 1 Synthetic oil changes. Most recently the alternator was replaced and brake fluid flush with last oil change. Originally a Florida car. 2 owner car.
Non-stock items are TechArt fixed rear wing and deck lid and EVOlution Motorsports Air box and filter.
Recent tires are Continental Sport Contact 2 in factory sizes. There is a small door scratch in drivers side door, scuff on drivers front wheel, and small paint chip on passenger side door. Getting pics of imperfections. The rear view pics are older just so I am not showing the actual plate number but car is representative of pictures.
These cars hold their value well as do any Porsche Anniversary editions. Drive a base 911 Carrera of this year and then a 40th Anniversary and you can tell the extra power over 4,500rpm and in the higher rev range (Redline = 7,200 RPM), the quicker acceleration, and better handling chassis immediately.Porsche claims the 40th Anniversary911 with the x51 accelerates 0-100 mph in one second less than the 320 hp 911 car. This car was near $100k when new and it still a thrilling car!
