2001 Porsche Boxster S MODEL Description

Car is in nice shape but engine has a problem - won't turn completely over. Drained the oil and there were fine copper particles in the oil filter. I didn't see any steel bits so I'm told it was not the IMS by the mechanics I checked with. Previous owner said he was driving down the freeway when it lost power so he coasted to the shoulder. He said it didn't make any noises and was running fine right up until then. It didn't leak any oil and there was no water in the oil when I drained it. No external signs of damage.Has a long list of Factory Options (option tag under front hood is shown in the pictures): Leather Interior(not just seats), Litronic Xenon Headlights, Headlight Washers, Climate Control,Premium Sound, 6 Cd Changer, Rain Sensor, On BoardComputer, Cruise Control, etc.
Car has no rust or accident history - Clear Oregon title. There is one small scratch on the right front fender, otherwise no dents or damage. Top is in good condition, but rear window has a split.Very nice interior with no rips or holes in the seats. No cracks in the dash, but the right speaker cover is broken (shown in pictures $33 to replace). Carpets are in great condition throughout the car.
Includes original manual and full tool roll including the wheel lock socket.
Nice 17" Factory S wheels and the Big Red S Brakes.
I was tempted to part it out, but it would a shame since it is such a nice car. I'm starting the auction at less than a third of what the parts would sell for.
