If you are actually interested in buying this car, please call me at 912-414-8993. If you are just 'tire kicking', by all means please send messages through ebay and I will get back to you as soon as is convenient.
Please read entire ad here, by bidding on this car you agree to the terms stated herein, mainly, you agree to pay a $500 deposit at the end of the auction, and the balance within 5 days. I still have a loan at the bank on this for about $5900 , so we will have to pay that to obtain title, or you can pay bank directly, I think.
Just over a year ago I bought thiseye-catcher on a whim...it could be my mid-life crisis car? The family thinks it's prettycool, but since only 2 of the 4 members can ride in it, it's maybe a littleimpractical. We recently moved and it wasn't cheap! So, I am considering offers on my Porsche to try and make up the difference.

Car hast just over 72,000 miles now, and I drive it about 100 miles a week. I was told when I bought it the intermediate shaft bearing was updated/ replaced, but there is no documentation to prove this. I have put about 6000 miles on this car in the last year with no issues at all.
Car does have wind deflector kit fitted. Just bought and installed a new pair of correct Porsche floor mats for the car, look great!
It's a 2000 Porsche Boxster S, with the larger 3.2L engine (the standard engine is a 2.5L) and bigger brakes--it's really fast and fun to drive. It is reliable, no noises, runs great. As an S model, it's also likely to be much more collectible than the standard Boxster. It looks great and presents well, but isn't perfect-- there is a small chip on the hood and a small crack in the windshield. Little scuffs here and there as you would expect from a pre-owned car. One very small ding/ crack in front bumper to left of license plate. All scuffs are not really noticeable unless they are pointed out, or if you are the person who washes the car regularly. It has been well taken care of and the interior is nice, too. The leather is still soft, no cracks in the dash. The interior is basic, with manual seats (which I actually prefer: no worries about them breaking) and a basic stereo unit with radio/ CD/ CD changer. Seats are showing a little wear (drivers side anyway) but no cracks or tears.
The top looks nice as well, and the rear windshield is clear with no tears. The top cloth has a couple of scuffs, but nothing serious or glaring. Good tires, and I'll make sure it has a fresh oil change. The windshield washer fluid light comes on-- I've filled it but I think there must be a fault with the cap sending unit. No other lights come on-- including the check engine.
Looks sharp and is very fun! Looking for $10,000 or something very close to it. If you are going to buy an early 986/ Boxster, it may as well be the 'S' model ; more potential to be collectible one day, and with the 3.2L 265HP engine and 6 speed manual it is a blast to drive, too. Call me with questions 912 414 8993-- Thanks!
