1971 Porsche 914 1.7 Description

I am the second owner of this near perfect example of an early 914 1.7All original car from southern California I purchased it from the son of the original owner. No rust! Battery box is in great original condition and no modification have been done with the exception of the conversion to a carburetor. The original fuel injection was on the car when I purchased it but I couldn't get it to run quite right with it. Istill have thecomplete fuel injection system and its included. It runsgreat and easy to start cold or hotwith the carburetor and can be driven anywhere. Still has the working original radio and speakers, rugs etc. New radial tires, battery, breaks, rear springsand some of the rubber sealsforthe top and doors . Take it to your local cruise night, or take it on a road trip..... its ready to go. A little more detailed cleaning and stick it in a car museum.

If your seriously in the market for an original, stock, non-modified, never rusted 914 then you'd be hard pressed to find a better example. The 1.7 is the original 914 model and this is new looking example that gets a lot of attention where ever its driven. I am moving and loosing the storage space and is the only reason I am parting with it.

Speedo works fine but the odometer in the older 914's were known to have issues with plastic gears that deteriorate over time (not use) so the actual miles is not known. Based on the condition its low mileage.

The paint is not original but was professionally redone by the original owner in the original color. It has been garaged and covered since, cover is included.
