1997 Porsche 911 C2 Description

For sale 1997 Porsche 993 6 speed manual

The 993, an automotive icon!I am letting my Porsche 993 go to the next enthusiast.

1997 is the last full production year of the AIR COOLED PORSCHE 911. This is a driver’s car. It has none of the driving nannies that come with most high-performance cars today. As a matter fact, the only driver’s aid you receive in a 993 is antilock brakes and your skills as a driver. There is no other car the rewards precision driving, like the Porsche 993.

As you can see in the photos, the metallic black with black interior has crested sports seats, which is a very rare option. It has aluminum pedals, shifter knob, and an emergency brake handle, white gauges and the rear of the front seats are painted to match the exterior colour.

I purchased the car from Pfaff Porsche, Woodbridge, Ontario Canada in May, 2011 with 43,415 miles. It came with a Blaupunkt stereo. The car also had a single mass flywheel to reduce weight. I was never satisfied with the ECU tuning, so I had it custom tuned. The car now has approximately 320 hp (estimated by my Porsche repair specialist)

I have thoroughly enjoyed driving this car and it is in perfect running condition as I have meticulously maintained it. I have a complete service history from the time of purchase, and some previous service history also.

Services performed:

Oil and filters are changed every 5,000 miles.
The engine has had a complete rebuild at 54,534 miles. The reason for this is that the previous owner did not drive the car often enough, which caused seals to dry up and crack, eventually leading to an oil leak. As we all know, the 993 is known to need an engine rebuild. A new clutch was also installed at that time.

Brakes - new rotors and pads were installed April, 2014.

Suspension was upgraded to Bilstein struts and lowered to European ride height – July, 2015, in addition to a four wheel alignment and corner weighting to improve handling.

Air conditioning fixed in April 2016

If you are looking for a Porsche 993 this is the car for you!

The car now has 97,087 miles (153,700 kms).
