This is the consummate business man’s sport car. This ultra rare 911 grand tourer (800 sold in the US out of 38,000 produced in total) was purchased after a thorough pre purchase inspection by my mechanic. The initial issue with the Targa roof has been fixed by Sun Porsche out of Mechanicsburg PA (service records available). The entire roof was removed and new updated motors, worm gears, and rails were installed. If you research, you will see that the initial Targa mechanical parts had design flaws. These new parts have been reengineered. This NEW Targa roof will last a lifetime! Additionally, new plugs, coil packs, and serpentine belt were replaced by Sun Porsche. Lastly, new Pirelli P Zero Neros were added. This sports car needs nothing. Just someone to enjoy it as I have. Meticulously kept. Always garaged. Never tracked. An all-around fast sport car that can be used as a day to day driver over all the seasons due to its all-wheel drive. The Targa is the only model 911 with a hatchback. I do sales and marketing and have been able to transport a Mac Display, and marketing materials to conferences with ease! I have had several 911s but this car is so well mannered with its low-weight (3,300lb) and 325hp (273 lb-ft torque) which equals a power-to-weight ratio of almost 10lb/hp. This generation is the last of the horizontally opposed naturally aspirated 6 cylinder 'boxer' engines! Some Porsche purists say, this 997 generation is the last generation of the true ‘driver’s car’ because the 991 generation changed to electric steering due to the CAFÉ standard requirements for better fuel economy.

This car was originally purchased for $93,190.00 and it is the launch addition of the Targa. It comes equipped with the following additional factory options: self-dimming mirrors, heated front seats, 19" turbo wheels, Bosehigh endsound package,power seatpackage, Porsche crest in headrests.
