For sale is my 2005 SAAB 9-5 Aero in Polar White with two-tone Granite Gray Sport-Tech leather interior. This is an extremely rare car and has been owned by SAAB enthusiasts and mechanics since new. The 2004-05 Aero models are highly desirable and this car being the final pre-facelift year with the manual transmission make it one of only 4 sedans ever produced in Polar White and the only one with the Sport-Tech package I'm aware of. Combine that with the astonishing service records and this is absolutely a one of a kind car.

History:
The 9-5 was a special order car delivered to the dealer in Raleigh where it spent all of it's life while being maintained and serviced there through the dealer and by a top local independent specialist. The prior owner is a SAAB technician and spent several years completely restoring the car mechanically from bumper to bumper. The car has but is not limited to a new 2009 specification engine assembly, turbo, transmission, suspension, brakes and more. No detail was overlooked inside or out making this car practically new again. With the restoration done the engine was then tuned and modified to take advantage of the great powerplant with the addition of a 3" downpipe and full 3" exhaust, JZW engine software, 3.5bar Fuel Pressure Regulator, K&N Performance Air Filter, colder NGK plugs(changed every oil change,) and more to compliment the new engine and it's higher capability. The car does also include the later model air filter snorkel, larger turbo inlet pipe, and updated PCV system as is stock on the final rendition of the B235R engine.

Condition:
I've taken care of the car as it deserves and as it has always been maintained; with 3,000 mile synthetic oil/plug changes and other preventative maintenance. Every single component works including the electrics, heated front seats, audio, lights, and comfort features. The car was ordered with parking assist which works flawlessly. The rear shocks are upgraded Bilstein HD units and the stock Aero springs are retained. This SAAB comes riding on very rare two-piece BBS RKII 17" wheels with brand new tires. Additionally the car has an added AUX-in input with SiriusXM radio and remote. For those performance minded you can also view all of the engine running parameters though the unlocked SID. This is a 11 year old car and will have wear accordingly but the pictures and records speak for themselves with this car. With the complete overhaul done the car now has less than 80k miles on it's mechanical components. If you were looking for a fast comfortable SAAB this would be one of the best, this car isn't weighed down with extra features/wiring/components like other models which makes for a better driving car overall. Recent maintenance includes replacing all power steering lines which is expensive and one of the hardest jobs on this chassis.

The 9-5 needs absolutely nothing and has been the absolute most reliable and enjoyable car I've owned but a new project is taking my time and space so I must reluctantly sell. I have a link to 100+ pictures for prospective buyers to review. I am happy to answer all questions and I'm only looking for someone to take care of this once in a lifetime SAAB.
