2005 Saab 9-3 Arc Convertible 2-Door Description

Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep inmind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.

Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2005 Saab 9-3 Arc with just 118k miles. I would rate the exterior of this 9-3 convertible to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking convertible. It is finished in black over tan with a matching black soft top and looks great. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. However, there is nothing noteworthy to report on the exterior of this Saab. The black finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass all around. The convertible top shows well and does not leak. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the trim and cladding are present and show well. With the exception of a small crack in the right tail light, all the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with average tread all around. The headlight lenses are nice and clear, not all hazed up and dull. The xenon HID headlights do an excellent job at lighting up the road in front of you. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this Saab looks.

I would also rate the interior of this Saab 9-3 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. A full set of floor mats are included. The dash and headliner are clean. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The leather seats are soft and supple, not dried out and brittle. They are deeply bolstered and supportive, yet comfortable. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and convertible top all work properly. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater works well. It's a little cold to tell whether or not the air conditioner works properly but I can hear the compressor kick on as needed with the climate control so it most likely works. The audio system is original and works properly. The displays are easy to read, not all blanked out and pixelated. The trunk is spacious and clean. Please take your time to check out each of the photos carefully.

Mechanically, this Saab appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.0L turbocharged engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I haven't noticed any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older car. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. I can feel some wear in the front bushings (sway bar end links, most likely...maybe control arms) when going over bumpy or rough surfaces, which is common as these cars age. Steering and braking feel good. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. The turbo spools up quickly and makes good power. There have been no idiot lights on during my road test. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. This 9-3 Arc cruises easily at 80mph and is a comfortable driver. These are great cars and make excellent drivers. If you're looking for a luxurious convertible that is an absolute pleasure to drive, this car should be at the top of your list. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
