2006 Saab 9-5 4 door sedan – all highway miles and all Saab dealer maintenance
When I bought it, the Carfax said it was worth $1500 OVER RETAIL!
One-owner car when I bought it– a white collar professional who put 22k a year on it – I think only the driver’s seat has been sat in.
I’ve owned Saabs since 1980 – including a previous 9-5 – and don’t let the odometer fool you – this car looks drives and feels better than one with HALF the miles thanks to all Saab dealer maintenance. It feels as tight (and much more fun!) as my wife's 2010 9-3 XWD with only 24000 mi.
I bought it and put only 400 miles on it all year – I just don’t drive much these days as I have back problems, so time to give up some cars.
In 2006, Saab didn’t make an Aero, so ALL 9-5s got the 260hp turbo charged engine – this baby really GOES! Just press the SPORT button and FLY! Normally the the high performance model VIN starts with "EH" - but '06s were an exception.
Has paddle shifters too. It also has the Aero sway bars, so it corners really flat, but it doesn’t have the stiff shocks and springs, so the ride is very smooth and comfortable.
240 watt Harman Kardon audio system features in-dash mp3 CD changer with Aux in for iPod – one of the very best sounding factory systems around with 9 speakers including rear deck subwoofers.
Heated power seats with memory, Dual Control ACC with super cold a/c, sunroof, power windows and remote central-locking, and all of it works –even the cupholders. The back seats are heated too.
Has split folding rear seats, which do not appear to have been sat in or ever folded before. (My previous 9-5 was able to haul a dozen 8ft 2x4s withjust the rear armrest pass-thru to the trunk flipped down!)
Includes a bike rack hitch for you cycling fans.
The only things I did to it since buying it was to install a new cabin air filter, new hood shocks and hatch shocks, and install a new ignition lock cylinder (after a while they stick and cause battery drain) – it came with a new battery.
4 BRAND NEW 235/45ZR-17 BF Goodrich G-Force COMP-2 A/S XL TIRES ($600 mounted) – came in #2 in the Tire Rack Ultra High Performance All Season Tire ratings – I know they’re great in rain, and supposed to be very good in snow and ice too.
Only one thing that doesn’t work perfectly – the gas gauge is flaky- so I just use the trip odometer – when it gets over 200 mi. or so I buy gas. The fuel tank level sensor is less than a hundred bucks.
No Rust Anywhere! This car has always been kept clean and garaged. Has the normal minor dings and chips as expected, and some scuffs on r. pass. wheel well.
I'm the real owner and have the clear title in my name, and the car is ready to roll with a new PA inspection and fresh synthetic oil change.
Any questions? Just ask!
All I want is a mere $3600 (remember that includes $600 in NEW tires) CASH money - any bank check or cert. funds must clear before pickup
I can recommend a shipper if you need one.
