1968 Saab Sonett Coupe Description

Enjoyable little Swedish car that is number 464 out of 1610 Sonett V4's made. The Monza muffler system gives the car a great sound, while not being stock it can be replaced by the new owner should they desire originality. The interior is new: carpet, headliner, upholstery and updated leather seats. All gauges work but the clock does not. The wheels are from a 1972 Sonett III and the tires are new (including the spare). The rear window is a beautiful original survivor. The engine has been rebuilt, the transaxle seals replaced with a working "free-wheeling" system. Car was restored with the fiberglass body off of the frame. The manual transmission is engaged by a 4-speed column shift with reverse--true Swedish uniqueness. A fun and rare car for any collector.
