2003 Saab 9-3 Arc Description

Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2003 Saab 9-3 Arc with just 141k miles. As you can see, this is a good looking sedan. It is finished in black over parchment with professionally tinted windows, which is a good color combination. A would rate the exterior of this 9-3 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. The black finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. However, you'd be hard pressed to find anything worth complaining about as you walk around the exterior of this Saab. The worst I can say is that the headlight lenses show a little hazing (which is normal at this age) and one of the grill inserts is missing (which you can see in the photos). The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the molding and trim is present and looks good. The factory alloy wheels show well for their age and are wrapped in a matching set of Continental's with average tread all around. All of the glass and lenses are intact. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this Saab looks. I would rate the interior of this 9-3 Arc to also be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The carpets are clean and show well throughout the interior. The worst I can say about the interior is that the plastic handle to the parking brake is broken. Both front seats are heated. The power windows, locks, mirrors, sunroof and seat all work properly. The audio system is original and sounds good. There are steering wheel audio controls, too. All of the interior displays are working and legible. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR. The wood interior accents give this car a warm feel. The original owners books as well as the original window sticker are included. The trunk is spacious and clean. Again, please take your time to check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this Saab looks inside and out. Mechanically, this Saab appears to be in good running and driving condition. The turbocharged 2.0L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older vehicle. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. In fact, this car handles very well and is a blast to drive. The brakes are upgraded all around. This car also has a performance air intake and exhaust. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. The turbo spools up quickly and makes good power. This is a seriously quick sedan. Acceleration is smooth and effortless. This 9-3 Arc has the desirable 6 speed manual transmission, which really makes the car. The clutch engages smoothly and does not slip or chatter. Gear changes through the six speed manual transmission are clean and precise, as they should be. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. In addition to being remarkably quick, this Saab also gets nearly 30 mpg on the highway...if you can keep your foot out of it. The only thing I've come across that doesn't work is the fuel gauge. On the bright side, she comes with a full tank of gas. The manual transmission Saab's are getting hard to find...especially the 6 speed cars. If you've been looking for a clean one that hasn't been beaten and all used up, this 2003 Saab 9-3 Arc deserves your careful consideration. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
