2005 Saab 9-2X Description

For Sale is a 2005 SAAB 9-2X AeroAWD 2.0L Turbo Wagon. This car is a "Subaru WRX" rebranded and rebadged SAAB. It actually is quieter inside then a WRX and also has the STI Steering Rack which is an added bonus. So get yourself a WRX for a heck of a lot less. It has a 4 SpeedAutomatic Transmission (*NEEDS TRANSMISSION, I BELIEVE*) It has 163,XXX on the odometer. Black exterior with Black/Gray two tone cloth interior. Power Locks, Power Windows, Cruise Control, Heated Seats, Fog Lights, 6 Disc In Dash Changer, Heated Wipers, Automatic Temp Control. Rear Defrost. AS you can see above the history report is clean and the car has had 2 owners, I purchased knowing that the transmission was going to need some work which I was planning on just replacing as I had found a few for $400 with shipping.
Here is one of the ones I found: http://www.ebay.com/itm/391418994911?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT.
However, I recently lost my job after purchasing the car and now have to put the project on the back burner. It could be that the internal trans filter is clogged or one of the internal sensors is damaged as you can here a sucking sound and it tries to engage. I did drain the fluid and change the external filter when I first got the car and the fluid was really really dirty but it is still doing the same thing. I was going to just replace the transmission at $400 it didn't seem worth it to me to pay someone to check it out and the transmission I found only had 79k on it. Other then the transmission mechanically the car is fine. I could send you a video of it running if you like. It has 16'' Enkai wheels with Big O Euro Tour tires on the wheels with roughly 50% to 60% tread left. The interior overall is nice with NO rips, stains, odors and everything works as supposed to. The exterior has a few blemishes such as the hood scoop and rear spoiler have faded my plan was to repaint them red or black. There are a few small dings around the car which could be removed by a paintless dent guy. On the passenger side there is a slight crease mainly in the rear passenger door that has been touched up and not as noticeable. I would be happy to send more pics either text or email. I am willing to end the sale early and do a deal between us if you choose or end early through ebay by accepting your offer if we have been discussing. I am not trying to hide anything and will disclose all that I can tell you. I am assuming the car will need to be towed out of here as again it will try to engage and then disengages. If you're plan is to try and steal the car for $1,000 don't waste your time, its not a total it needs a somewhat inexpensive transmission. You can TEXT me for fastest response at 970-417-6604.
