Listed for sale, is this 1998 Subaru Outback Wagon with only 124K miles. The vehicle runs and drives good. The engine, transmission, and drivetrain, function properly. However; there is an issue with both coolant fans. They stay running at all times; therefore, they have to be disconnected. Both fans were replaced, but they issue still exists. So at this point; we're not sure what the problem is. The car doesn’t over heat, but it does eventually drain the battery. This seems to be common with these vehicles, and could be an easy fix. Nonetheless; I wanted the buyers to know this and submit their offers accordingly.
The interior in good condition, showing minor wear and tear. Theexterior also looks good. There is minor damage to passenger-side rear door, but the rest of the car has your normal scuffs/scratches.
Overall, not a bad vehicle, and again the issue could be very minor. Therefore, you could be getting this car for a steal. The vehicle is at a shop, and must be moved ASAP. So ALL offers would be considered. Thanks!
