2005 Subaru Legacy Description

2005 Legacy GT Wagon Limited, 5 speed manual transmission, 164k miles, satin pearl white, tan interior. I am the second owner, I purchased from the original owner/Legacygt.com forum member in April 2014. He owned it since new and I have all his dealer records. Everything on the vehicle is perfect operating condition, with no leaks of any kind. I have changed the oil like clockwork every 3k miles using Motul, the car never sees boost until the engine is up to temp, has never seen autocross, and I never dump the clutch. I modified the vehicle to be super stock and reliable. The vehicle was recently diagnosed with a possible burnt engine valve on cylinder #2. It drives perfectly fine, pulls as strong as ever, no oil consumption, but idles a bit low and throws an engine code noting a miss on cylinder #2. I have over $23k in this vehicle and love it, but with a toddler and one on the way I have no more time for projects. I know I will regret selling as these cars have an appeal that is difficult to describe.

All work was performed by IAG Performance out of Maryland and Mach V out of Virginia. Most know that both of these shops are the best in the business, my thanks to both for all of the help. All receipts are included in the pic gallery. Prior owner’s records are available by request.

In June of 2014 IAG performed a compression test showing perfect consistent numbers. The stock turbo was replaced with a BNR 16g, new lines, a Killer B oil pickup, Grimmspeed boost solenoid, Deatschwerks 740cc side feed injectors, Cobb cold air intake, Cobb catless uppipe, Invidia catted downpipe, Fast Motorsports top mount intercooler, Walbro fuel pump, BC BR Coilovers, Whiteline front/rear swaybars, Kartboy front/rear endlinks, Kartboy shortshifter, and a ProTune/Cobb Accessport V3. I wanted a mild tune until I figured out what I wanted to do with the drivetrain. Dyno’d at 272 to the wheels and still gets over 300 miles to a tank of 93 octane. www.iagperformance.com

In November of 2014 I hit a deer with the right front of the car; the dear flew over the hood hitting the windshield in front of the driver before clearing the side of the car. All damage was cosmetic. All work was completed by D&V Autobody of Sterling, VA. Both front fenders, the right front light housing, the hood were replaced with a perfect paint match/blend along with the windshield. D&V are renowned for their quality workmanship as they specialize in exotic cars. The total repairs amounted to $4,300. I also have some iPhone pictures of the damage prior to repair. The car otherwise has a clean Carfax. www.dandvautobody.com

In December of 2014 a small rock hit the windshield creating a dime-sized spider web crack. It was professionally injected with resin, but is slightly visible.

In August of 2015 Mach V installed an ACT Street clutch using a resurfaced WRX flywheel, all fluids were changed, stainless brake lines were installed, Hawk pads on the rear, Rally Armor mud flaps front and rear. www.machv.com

Included with the sale is the Cobb Accessport, OEM original air intake, Momo shift knob, and OEM roof cross bars for carrying whatever. Also included, but not installed JDM double-din for dual-hvac stereo replacement, a 2014 Pioneer SPH-DA110 AppRadio 3 head unit still-in-box, Axxess Steering Wheel Console, and finally the model correct i88 adapter harness and all necessary installation wiring from http://ae64.com/i88FRharness.htm
