The Subaru runs great. The engine is quiet. The transmission shifts great in hot or cold weather. There are no leaks or seepage from any of the gaskets. It drives on the highway very well. No pulling or shaking.
The exterior shows really nice for being 12 years old. There is absolutely no rust on the body, in the engine bay, or underneath the car. There are no dents in the body or scratches. ****There is however a dent on the fuel lid and rock chips on the front of the hood. I did touch the rock chips up with the matching paint from Subaru. There is no other body issues or flaws. Paint the is original and shines. No fading.
The interior is in good condition. It was a non smokers car. The headliner is nice and not sagging. There are no rips in the seats or carpeting. The interior is not missing anything. No buttons on the dash are fading. **The rpm gauge jumps around. It idles just fine, but the needle on the gauge just jumps around sometimes. I believe this is why cruise control is not functioning.
All electrical works in the car. Power window, locks and all functions. The stereo sounds great and the cd player functions as well. **The cruise control is not functioning however. It blinks in green on the dash. Not sure why.
The suspension is nice and tight. Rides great over bumps with no noises. Drives straight. There is no play in the steering wheel. All ball joints, tie rods and cv axles look like new. No leaking.
The exhaust is quiet.Has one keyless entry remote that works and 2 keys.
**The heat is not functioning as it should. The heat will blow hot for a minute then go warm. Sometimes it will not even work at all. The oil is not milky. It does not overheat. It does not leak coolant. It does not smoke from the exhaust.
**Rock dings on hood and fuel lid door has dent.
**Cruise control not functioning like it should.**Rpm gauge is erratic.
