1998 Subaru Legacy Description

Great condition! Runs better than most cars I've driven.Very fuel efficient. I moved here from Maine on a little over 100 dollars in gas. Thats 1,269 miles from where I came from to Moro. 300 miles on roughly a full tank of gas. It has high mileage 174,438. Subaru engines are projected to last until 300,000 - 500,000. It's not uncommon to see a Subaru with this kind of mileage. It has no issue with getting up and going. Very quite at high speeds. Cruise control works very very well! A/C and heat work very very well. Very clean interior for the entire time I've owned the car. Owner before me kept the car very clean as well. Tires are in great condition. The car grips the road like no tomorrow. Very very maneuverable. The AWD works superb. The few snow storms I had to drive in, it preformed better then some trucks on the road. Extremely comfortable. Power Windows, one touch driver window (down only). Power two way sun roof. Power Mirrors. Window Locks, power locks, Anti-Theft (siren disconnected due to constantly going off. Security feature itself still works) CD Player, Awesome Stereo! It is a very very safe, RELIABLE car. Again it got me from Maine to Illinois and not once did I ever question the integrity of the car. *NEW PARTS* During the time I've had this car i've installed a new Alternator, coil pack, four new spark plugs, oil sending unit, and bulbs for both fog lights. My girlfriends dad who is a mechanic down in Wood River checks the engine out during my oil changes and tells me its in great condition. I trust his word more than anyones and I hope that helps with your thoughts about the car. I am currently waiting on my title to come in from the state of Maine. I forgot mine at my parents house when I moved. Please understand this car is in the St Louis Metro area. If youpurchase this car you are entirelyresponsible for picking up the car. I will not drop it off, drive it to any other location. I recommend any within Illinois or Missourito purchase this car. Just alittle easier that way.
