We love this car, but our son is headed off to college in the fall and we are downsizing some of our expenses.
The first winter we had this car we took a last minute weekend trip to the beach and ended up in an ice storm. This car handled the ice and snow with ease. We were able to safely navigate major highways as well as untreated neighborhood roads and steep hills. It comfortably holds three adults in the back seat plus all of your camping or snowboarding gear. When the trucks are stuck in the lodge parking lot, you won't have any problem getting home at the end of a long day on the mountain.
With the eye sight system, the car warns you when you drift out of your lane or are approaching an object too quickly. It also takes action if you do not respond and slows your car to reduce the impact of a collision. The adaptive cruise control maintains a safe distance between you and the car in front of you and will modify your speed as needed without having to change your settings. It also resumes your speed when traffic picks up again. Works excellent for long trips. This might be our favorite feature!
