And the smartest form of transportation for our environment. What more could you ask for? Oh yea, and you get to feel like James Bond when driving it!!! (The VIN on this car actually ends in 007)
2015 Telsa Model S 60 in EXCELLENT condition inside and out! I will assume you know a lot about Tesla and Elon Musk if you are considering purchasing this car. If not, you definitely should do some homework on the man and the company, it is well worth the time. Elon Musk is an incredible person and Tesla is an incredible car maker like no other. But more about this particular Tesla. It is a 2015 Model S with the 60KWh Battery giving you a full range charge of 210 miles. Honestly, I have been driving this car for some time and I have never come close to running the battery to zero. There is a Tesla Supercharger network across the country that allows you to charge the car FOR FREE anywhere in the world for the LIFE OF THE CAR!!! At a Supercharger, you can get a full charge, 210 miles in about 40 minutes, for FREE. At Home, there is a 50A charging cable that gives you a full range charge in 7 hours. But rarely do I pull in my garage at the end of the day with 0 miles left on the battery. Typically, I will still have 50 to 100 miles on the battery, so to top her off takes about 3 to 4 hours a night. Long story short, I drive the car as much as I want and every morning I wake up with a full take of “gas”. I live in central Florida, and my energy cost is 11.7 cents/kwh I have done the math and it costs about $7.00 to fill the battery from 0 miles to 210 miles. On average, I am spending about $3 or $4 a night to top off the battery for a full charge the next morning. So that is about $100.00/mo on “fuel”. How much do you spend on gas per month now? So you can see the ridiculous cost savings of owning a Tesla, right?
Well it doesn’t stop there. Let’s talk about maintenance. In a typical ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) vehicle you will have a massive amount of maintenance on the gas engine itself (Oil Changes, Spark Plugs, Coil Packs, Fuel Pumps, Fuel Tanks, Fuel Injectors, Gaskets Leaking, Seals Leaking, Belts, Hoses, Batteries, Radiators, Water Pumps, Anti-freeze, Transmission Service, Transmission Filters, Oil Filters, Transmission clutches, and on and on and on and on), along with cooling systems, transmission systems, A/C system, brakes, etc. Not on a Tesla. There is no Gas Engine, there is an Electric Motor which requires no maintenance. There is an A/C obviously, but it is not a typical unreliable Freon / belt driven compressor system you find in other cars. It is a refrigeration system similar to your refrigerator at home. How often do refrigerators stop working compared to automotive Air Conditioning systems? Which would you rather? Brakes are said to need pads around 100,000 miles depending on your driving habits. The Tesla uses Regenerative Braking on the electric motor so that when you take your foot off of the accelerator, the energy to slow the car down is put back into the battery. Once you get used to this, you RARELY use the brake pedal. The car slows itself down sufficiently enough that you need to use the actual brake calipers very very little. So, basically the biggest maintenance concerns are wiper blades and washer fluid. BUT, if anything does arise, the electric motor that drives the car AND the 60KWh battery itself have a Tesla Factory Warranty of 8 years/UNLIMITED mileage. The rest of the car itself bumper to bumper Tesla Factory Warranty is 4 year/50,000 Miles. So this particular car has 3 years left on the FULL Bumper to Bumper Warranty and 7 years left on the electric motor and 60KWh Battery. 8 Years, Unlimited Mileage warranty on the motor and battery? That is the entire drive train in a Tesla. Lets see ANY other car maker on the planet offer an 8 year/Unlimited miles warranty on their drivetrain. Telsa is Incredible!!!!

Sets New NHTSA Vehicle Safety Score Record
Palo Alto, CA — Independent testing by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has awarded the Tesla Model S a 5-star safety rating, not just overall, but in every subcategory without exception. Approximately one percent of all cars tested by the federal government achieve 5 stars across the board. NHTSA does not publish a star rating above 5, however safety levels better than 5 stars are captured in the overall Vehicle Safety Score (VSS) provided to manufacturers, where the Model S achieved a new combined record of 5.4 stars.
Of all vehicles tested, including every major make and model approved for sale in the United States, the Model S set a new record for the lowest likelihood of injury to occupants. While the Model S is a sedan, it also exceeded the safety score of all SUVs and minivans. This score takes into account the probability of injury from front, side, rear and rollover accidents.
Compared to the Volvo S60, which is also 5-star rated in all categories, the Model S preserved 63.5 percent of driver residual space vs. 7.8 percent for the Volvo. (Over 8 TIMES BETTER than a Volvo!!!)
So now that you understand that Tesla is a HUGE savings on fuel cost over a regular car, HUGE savings on maintenance costs over the life of the car, and is the SAFEST car for your family ever made, now let’s talk about what is really important, is it fun to drive? This car is by far the coolest, most fun, sexiest, bad ass car I have ever driven in my life. Everything about it screams, “The future is here!!” From the incredible 17” LED control display panel, to the programable dashboard display. The seats are ergonomically designed to just feel right! Everything about this car is simply “Smart”. Integrated LTE wifi is standard and comes free for the life of the vehicle. Streaming music media through Slacker Radio is also included free for the life of the car. Additionally, the Telsa Supercharger network will have a cost associated to use the network starting in January, 2017 for NEW CARS SOLD ONLY. The cars that where sold prior to January, 2017 will continue to be grandfathered in to use the Supercharger network for FREE. (That includes this car) Everywhere I go in this car, I get attention and questions. Everyone loves it. What is there not to love? Handling is superb. This car weighs in at just under 5000lbs. That’s right, 5000lbs. Batteries are not light weight. To give you a comparison, a Cadillac CTS weighs in at 3600lbs, BIG difference. But Tesla uses that additional weight intelligently, SHOCKER!! They designed the car so that the battery mass is located under the floor boards of the car which gives the Model S an incredibly low center of gravity. We all know that equates to unmatched stability, handling, and control. The ride comfort is second to none. This is the quietest, cleanest, smoothest, most comfortable riding car I have ever driven in my life. Oh Yea, did I mention fast? 0 to 60mph in 5.5 seconds. Not record breaking, but this is the 60KWh battery version. The P100D version is literally the fastest production car made. 0 to 60mph in 2.7 Seconds. But this 60KWh version is plenty fast and is SUPER snappy with torque. The acceleration response is like no other car on the road. There is no transmission, so there is ZERO lag when you push the pedal. At any speed, there is IMMEDIATE power to the wheels and the torque is indescribable.
So this particular Tesla Model S is the one shown in the photos below. It is in GREAT condition inside and out. It runs perfect, no problems, no concerns. It DOES HAVE AUTOPILOT. Autopilot is active and works perfectly, I LOVE IT!! Autopark is a very cool feature as well, you will love it. It also has the full Panoramic Sunroof that opens fully. It is HUGE.
