1997 Toyota Land Cruiser Base Sport Utility 4-Door Description

1997 Toyota Landcruiser 40th Anniversary Edition. This SUV has 245,385 miles. It has always been in New Mexico, mostly Santa Fe and has zero rust anywhere.I purchased it from the daughter of the original owner.A mild restoration was just completed which included the following: New paint on a rust and dent free body. The paint job has only a few very minor imperfection only noticeable with close inspection. The hood and roof had sun damage/oxidation.The exterior lower window moldings were replaced, the rain gutter molding along the roof line is new and a new windshield and windshield gasket were installed.(The old one was decent I just like new windshields) Mechanical maintenance was done with new front brakes and rotors, wheel bearings, rear brake pads, new spark plugs, oil and fluids changed, crank sensor replaced, recent radiator.A 2" Old Man Emu lift kit was installed with new BFG KO2 285/75/16 tires(less than 800 miles on them) new muffler,I found a new set of 40th Anniversary OEM floor mats on Ebay for it.The leather seats are still in very good shape as well as the rest of the interior. This Toyota does use some oil, about 1/2 to a full quart per 1000 miles is my guess. It does not smoke at all and although there is some seepage there are no large leaks. The oil pressure and compression are excellent.I recently took it on a couple Jeep roads in Colorado (Black Bear Pass,Imogene Pass) and it handled these easily and there are rugged areas on both. This Landcruiser does have working front and rear locking differentials. This Cruiser is a very nice looking and running example.Feel free to ask any other question not addressed here.Serious interested parties can reach me at (505) 228-5572.Thanks,Ron
