1980 Toyota Corolla Liftback AE86 TE72 W56 4AGE GTS SR5 Recaro Hatch
1980 Toyota Corolla SR5 Description
For sale is my 1980 TE72 Toyota Corolla TE72 Liftback with a full AE86 GTS swap and a w56 trans, fully rebuilt and refreshed. It was an SR-5 that was loaded, including the very rare sunroof. I hate that I have to put it up for sale but building it, and buying EVERY single thing to make it right put me in some debt that I really should pay off. I know it's a lot but if you're interested please read the full ad to understand the car then ask away if you still have questions. Thanks!
I am the third owner of this car, it was originally an inland California car, then Vegas garaged by a Japanese car enthusiast, part of the reason it's still so nice. ZERO rust, clean title, can be titled in California easily, and only 155k original miles on chassis.

Literally every single nut, bolt, and piece of this engine was cleaned thoroughly before being put back together. The engine was 100% blueprinted throughout the build process with micrometers and plastigauge, everything coming very nicely in spec. Moly assembly lube used and Mobil 1 10w-30 for first 125 miles, varying rpm, then drained. Changed oil with Mobil 1 10-30 again at 1000 miles. Now two changes later at ~6000 miles since the rebuild.
