1979 Toyota Corolla SR5 Description

<font size="4"> Car has been in Family since new. I am the 2nd owner. 1979 Toyota Corolla Liftback SR5 Hardtop. 1600cc (Hemi) engine, 5 Speed standard. This little car is a blast to drive, and easy to drive. It starts easy, runs great, Drives great. Has 2bbl Holley/Weber Carburetor. All Tie rod ends, struts, Brake & Clutch master Cylinders were replaced about 2 years ago. Engine had new Timing Chain, Tensioner, Water Pump, all new (NOS) AC system about 4 years ago. Back seat folds down to carry lots of stuff. Great MPG, and fun. Its a 37 year old car, so it does have some rust. Roof has been coated with Herculiner Bed liner to cover some rusted out areas. There is some rust on fender and quarter panels (has been covered with aluminum tape), and around windows, and drivers side floor had hole that I covered with metal. Dash is cracked pretty bad, and has dash cover. Seat Upholstery is old and brittle. Most of the pastic trim inside and out is brittle and or broken. None of this effects its reliability. All glass is good, no cracks. Good tires, good brakes. Ready to drive, and driven regularly. Seats are Fair under seat covers. Its no show car, but with some body work it would be close. Was repainted by factory in the 1980's, but they did a real bad job, and paint is faded, cracking, and peeling. All glass is good. Everything works (except radio), Cold AC, and good heater. It turns heads! Has Antique Vehicle Plates that will be removed (You will have to get plates or re-register for antique plates) I have too many vehicles and must downsize. I think I have been as honest as possible about its condition. Its just a very fun car to drive. Odometer shows just under 25000.0 but I am sure its turned over once at least.
