1989 Toyota Corolla Description

Please check my feedback anything I sell is my private property and I try hard to list any flaws from perfect. I promise you will be happy with no surprises.
This is my classic 1989 all Japan made Corolla with low miles for the year. Yes it costs more than $500 worn out ones that are junked needing major work. This car is in another league from most.
I bought this car almost 2 decades ago when it had 29,000 on it and never had any issues besides normal items that wear out. Even those have been minor. They used to make these cars to last 250 to 300,000 miles before a major engine or tranny failure so it's barely broke in. Thats why its easily worth 3k, the engine sounds new. A few items I have replaced- the battery last month with an expensive one, a few years ago I replaced the alternator and radiator, and I replaced and converted the entire air conditioning system 2 years ago with the work done by a licensed mechanic. It gets as cold as a new car would. All new drive belts. I also replaced a leaking oil seal about 3 years ago so no leaks.
The car starts and runs perfectly, even after sitting a week or more, these earlier Japanese made models had great electronics and were made to last. It does not run hot, or get warm even on the hottest days. There are no smoke issues, no burning oil, valve or crank knocks. Nothing hidden with honey oil. It runs about like new, the warm idle might go increase by a few hundred rpm for a few miles if the A/C is on under load, but then it corrects itself. Basically it purrs at any speed, from 20 to 75. On the highway there is no rattle or shake. It has a firm and solid suspension and front end so there is no steering wheel shake or sloppiness. The Tires are in very good shape, easily half tread life.
A Few negatives-One of the rear tail light covers got cracked, I temporarily covered it with some military tape, and I never got around to replacing it. The headliner is finally starting to come down though it's not bad enough to be replaced yet. The shifter indicator plastic finally cracked so it has a coating over it. Wipers need new arms and blades they work fine just cosmetically could look better. I do not believe the wiper fluid motors work. It has hand cranked windows but I prefer them personally.
Generally the car has a very few minor items as its only fixes. The 3 speed transmission shifts like new, the motor, electrical, exhaust, brakes, and all other mechanical systems are fine, except it will need a driver side CV joint eventually.. I have always driven this car just enough to keep things lubricated and charged up, and it was used when my other car was in the shop. Now I just inherited a 3rd car, so it's just taking up space. If you drive used cars like i do, its always smart to have a backup to get to work. This vehicle is Super dependable and I would not hesitate to drive it cross country and back.
Lived in Florida most of its life so no salt, or beach use, and no rust. It could use a paint job however. There are no dents and very few dings period. Basically It's a solid car that needs nothing to run, and will run another decade with few issues if given normal maintenance. That is why my price is actually very low. A $2500 car good for 5 years easily with no major problems means only 500 per year auto cost. Thats why I drive good solid used cars and that my friends is called a great deal.
