1977 Toyota Celica GT Description

You're looking at a unicorn. A 1977 Toyota Celica Lifback with zero rust. This car is in amazing condition, mechanical and body. This car is 100% complete, all parts are there which is unheard of with these old Japanese cars.
NO RUST in floors, frame rails, fenders, quarter panels, hatch. I couldn't find rust anywhere. You can see in the pictures of the undercarriage, the undercoating is chipping off in some places where you can see the red primer on the floors. You could strip this undercoating to reveal the perfect floors.
Car comes with 2 sets of wheels. The Supra wheels you see in the pictures, and the stock 14" wheels in great condition and BRAND NEW TIRES.
Everything works! All lights, buttons, and displays work as they should. Windshield washer even sprays! The door buzzer buzzs when you open the doors. The dome light turns on, the map light turns on. Even the diagnostic display scrolls through its system checks. Cigarette lighter, horn, rear defroster, everything... works as it should.
Even the Air Conditioner is fully intact and turns on when you push the A/C button. I think it needs refrigerant, because it doesn't blow cold, but it's all there.
This car spent its entire life in southern George, indoors. The person I purchased it from knew the entire history of the car.
The pictures posted are of the car today. The car has only been washed. No wax, no buffing, no polishing. A professional detailing and this car would shine twice as much.
Mechanically, the car is truly amazing. Runs, drives, stops, steers perfectly. I drove the 1,120 miles. No joke! It ran great the entire time. No overheating, no drama whatsoever. Goes 85 mph down the interstate no problem (I know first hand). This car has been maintained to the highest degree, I can't stress that enough.
Imperfections: Like I said above, the paint could be buffed and polished. There is some oxidation here and there that could stand a good detailing. The ONLY spot of surface rust is a spot smaller than a dime, by the chrome trim on the passenger door. The shifter boot needs to be replaced. The shiny leather has chipped off as you can see in the pictures.
