Toyota 1977 RA29 Celica Liftback
1977 Toyota Celica Description
Car has 66,907 miles on it. I have owned the car for almost 2 years. The car currently does not run (no spark) but from what I can tell is all original. Car has been garage kept since I have had it. I have not removed any of the interior pieces. But i did remove the black/chrome trim to check for rust before selling the car as seen in the last pick. The only place i have seen minor surface rust is under the rocker panels, overall the car is in fantastic shape.
What i have done to troubleshoot the car:1. Installed new battery/terminal cables2. Fixed fusible link3. New glass tube fuses4. Removed ignitor with ballast resistor5. Removed points distributor and installed 20r electronic ignition6. Current setup is GM control module to signal for spark when key is turned (all lights in car come on and 12 volts come from the black/yellow wire)
Questions:1. How bad is rust? It has minor surface rust under the rocker panels below the door and a few minor paint bubbles around the car (about dime size)**No rust on frame rails or control arms or in fender wells2. Has the car run since you have had it? No I did flush the gas tank and put fresh gas in it and put two bottles of royal purple to stabilize the fuel3. Is the paint original? As far as I can tell the paint is the original silver4. Is the car all original? As best to my knowledge it is. Iv been to the toyota museum in Cali and my car looks just like the one on the floor5. Is the title clean? Yes6. Is the motor original? Yes its the 20r engine with 5 speed transmission7. Is interior in good shape? It has a few worn spots on the front seats but the rear seats and headliner are good8. Has the car been outside? No it has been garage kept for 2 years I have had it
The buyer is solely responsible for picking up the car, it is up to you to decide how
