1998 Toyota Tacoma BASE Description

1998 Toyota Tacoma standard cab pickup truck.
Always a southern truck so no rust issues. Clean top and bottom.
2.7 Inline 4 cylinder engine with turbo, automatic.This is a factory A/C truck. The A/C blows cold and the heat blows hot.
The 4 wheel drive works in all positions.
I do have a clean clear title in hand.
The truck in good mechanical condition. Runs smooth. The transmission shifts smooth. The 4 wheel drive works in all positions and never off road. The underside is very clean.Tires are Renegade Radar mud terrain with 80% tread. 285 / 75/ 16.
The floors are solid with no rust issues. There is no rust on the truck top or bottom.
The Tocoma is very solid in every way. Needs nothing and can drive anywhere the way it is. Even with the larger tires it runs and drives smooth. The Turbo was professionally installed and gives the 4 cylinder plenty of power.
These trucks are known for oil leaks. It had 4 leaks. They were the front cover behind the harmonic balancer, valve cover gasket, spark plug tube seals. I had all of these fixed and at the same time replaced all of the belts, new harmonic balancer and all seals. It still has a leak somewhere which is about 2 drops over night.
The body has a few dents as in the photo.
I do have a new bumper for the rear that will go with the truck.
Overall a very nice looking truck with a lot invested.
The interior is original and clean with very little wear as you can see in the photos. The drivers seat shows very light wear.
The tailgate and hood are new and never painted it because we liked the look.
The Truck does come with an aluminum tool box.

New tires and wheels with 80% tread and worn even.
Runs and drives smooth.
Drive anywhere the way it is.
The windshield has a crack from a stone chip. Who ever buys the truck I will have a new windshield installed before the truck is picked up.
