I picked up the truck as a repo. Body super straight. Ran a little rough. Clean interior. Overall in good shape. Clean Car-fax.
I found a nest in the air box and a weeping water pump. Went thru the engine and replaced timing belt- may be the original- tensioner and idler pulley along with new OEM tensioner and water pump. A new thermostat, plugs, belts, air filter, gas filter and radiator cap finished off the repairs. RUNS GREAT!!!!
I further went thru the gear boxes and found them all clean and full. No leaks or seaps seen around any seals. The brakes are in decent shape and stop fine. The muffler is all intact as well as the BILSTEIN shocks. The tires had decent tread but showed signs of cracking and they were 10 years old. I had NEW tires installed. Tried 32" but without a lift they would not work. Ran with 31x10.5 15.
Gotta love NEW MEXICO!! NO RUST!! But, at our altitude and heavy sun, paint- clear coat fade- and dashes- cracks- take a toll. Good news/ They has a dashmat in place. NO CRACKS on dash. I had the truck professionally repainted and had a bedliner sprayed in bed.
The interior is clean with no tears or stains. They were NON-SMOKERS!!!
With little info from CAR-FAX other then registration renewals I went to local Toyota dealer to inquire about service history because of the Toyota oil tag on windshield. JACKPOT!! This truck went to WEBB TOYOTA in Farmington New Mexico EVERY 3,000 miles for service.
That explains the wonderful condition of the engine.
I sprayed the dirt off the underside and photographed as well. No detail paint to hide anything.
This will be my 7th eBay vehicle sold. I have hand delivered 4 off them across the lower 48. My last car went to the Netherlands. I have the faith in this truck to take it to ALASKA!! Contact me about costs.
