Local pickup from Miami Florida (33176). Buyer must make pickup or shipping arrangements. The van does NOT run - part of the engine is taken apart. The parts that the mechanic removed are included and the engine needs to be fixed or replaced. The van will need to be towed or put on a flatbed.
My wife's van had a small oil leak. One night I heard a pop and the oil began coming out faster. I drove the van to a mechanic and he took the whole thing apart to assess damage. He informed me that the car would cost at least $2400 to repair. A low mileage used engine could be put in for $900 to $1600 so I felt that the mechanic wasn't being honest. Although I drove it in, he refused to put it back together. I lost patience, had it towed to my house and got her a new car. I do feel that it can be repaired fairly cheap but I'm not sure. We are the original owners and the car has a good amount of wear. There are some carpet stains in the cargo area and no spare tire. The tires, brakes and radiator are new. The transmission was changed a few years ago. The van has plenty of life in it for anyone who wants to put some time and money into it. Toyota is supposed to put a install a new dashboard and replace a shift solenoid under a recall warranty. The A/C runs well.
