Disclosures
I am the second owner of this truck, and I bought it in 2007 in California with approx. 60k miles on it. Since before I purchased it there was an issue with the emissions equipment installed on the truck. It will throw a check engine code for the MAF(mass air flow) sensor. I have not had any trouble passing smog in the last 7 years I lived in CA, but about a year and a half ago I was fed up with the checking/clearing of codes so I took it to a mechanic. We spent 2 months and a lot of money in parts trying to troubleshoot the issue. I have since moved to Idaho where I no longer need to smog my vehicles so I haven't payed attention to it since. That being said the truck runs awesome without any issues, just the annoying check engine light will come on every so often.
Second note, the truck was involved in an minor accident in 2010. I slid to a stop and rear ended a small SUV that was stopped at a green light. There was very little damage to the truck, and all of the parts were replaced by me. The hood was replaced with a carbon fiber hood that I found on Craigslist, not in great condition, but better that the one from the accident. The bumper was replaced with an ARB Deluxe Bull Bar/Bumper.
Lastly, this past September I was driving on a gravel road in the early morning, before sunrise, and an Antelope decided to run out in front of my truck while I was cruising down a straightaway. Luckily the ARB bumper did a great job of protecting the front end of the vehicle. There was some damage to the headlamp and corner light though. I replaced both headlamps and corner lights with some aftermarket ones, since the stock ones were starting to fade anyways.
The truck has some dents and scratches. I tried my best to show them in the pictures I posted, but I have taken this truck some places that most people wouldn't go. All this being said the truck has been great to me and I really hate to get rid of it because it has been so reliable, but I need something with 4 doors.
