2003 Toyota Tacoma PreRunner, 97K Miles Description
Here is a low mileage 2003 Toyota Tacoma up for sale. This vehicle has a clear Carfax with no accidents reported and original documented miles at 97K. The truck has been lifted and I believe it to be at least 3" lift kit. The truck is 2 Wheel drive just to make that clear. Paint looks decent as a driver or desert runner truck. Truck runs decent but the supercharger is not making proper boost, that being said, I drove the truck today 120 miles and it did fine. Please take a look at my video above and give me a call if you have further questions at 949 2 8 5 - 8 0 1 1 Exterior wise, the truck looks good and gets many compliments. The paint is a newer driver quality single stage paint job. It is glossy and looks good, but I would have to rate it about a 5 to 6 out of a 10 quality wise. The photos don't lie, it looks that good, but on close inspection, you will notice the body is a bit wavy a could have been prepped better in spots. Before paint, the truck had original paint with badly faded clear coat which is why it was redone. Has original wheels, new windshield and factory bumpers. The interior is in fair shape overall and there are no bad smells inside. Seats are original and don't have any rips or tears. Carpeting is brand new. Steering wheel, center console, dash and all plastic buttons and switches are in fair to good condition as well. Headliner is in good shape, AC blows ICE cold and heater warm. Has power windows, power door locks, mirrors and comes with factory key fob and alarm. Also has cruise control and everything inside works. Mechanically, the truck runs good but needs a few things. For one, it has brand new plugs and wires, new fuel filter and new valve cover gaskets. The 3.0L runs good with no warning lights, but the factory Supercharger is not making the proper boost according to my mechanic, so it runs and drives. but does not make power the way it should. I drove it a long way today to pick up some parts and had no problem. Also, the main seal is staring to leak and will need to be replaced. The truck has a big lift kit which has got to be 3 or 4â€, I am not sure on the size of the lift as this isn't my area of expertise. The truck drives decent but I would describe it as creaky over bumps and pretty stiff. Tires are 33" and are getting down the the end of life. On the bright side, the engine runs good and is quiet and the transmission is in good shape, rear end is quiet and the truck starts every time like a Toyota.
