TECH HEAVY, ALL OPTIONS, LEGAL JAPANESE IMPORT, TRUE JDM, IMMACULATE, 54K MILES!
1989 Toyota Crown Royal Saloon G Description
EDIT: I've noticed that there is a mistake on my feedback, I have always had 100% positive feedback, but for some reason, one of my positive reviews has a "negative" rating to it- even though you can read the review and see that it was positive in its context. I am trying to fix this glitch with eBay right now, please feel free to contact me with any questions, thanks!
EDIT #2: Because the Vin # is a Japanese one, I couldn't input it into eBay, but I have the auction sheet and the CarVX report (it's like the Japanese CarFax) that I can email to you upon request. Hello everyone, up for sale is my stunning 1989 Toyota Crown Royal Saloon G. I legally imported the car from Japan last year- it is a true JDM vehicle. This car was originally owned by a diplomat in Japan, and was very lightly driven since new- with only 87k verified kilometers (54k miles).
It is in truly remarkable condition for its age, although it does have some wear here and there on the body, with a couple minor dings. Overall though, it is in remarkable shape, and the paint still shines almost like new.
This car was VERY advanced for its age. It is literally fully loaded- with many options that still aren’t standard on cars in 2017! This includes: -GPS-Color T.V-Touch screen-Mini-fridge-Anti-theft alarm system-T.V tuner (analog)-Digital gauge cluster (with 3D effect)-4-setting Air Suspension-Automatic swing vents-ABS (4-Wheel)-Power Steering-Tilt & Teloscoping wheel-AM/FM/CD/Cassette Stereo-Automatic 4-Speed Transmission w/overdrive-Air Conditioning-Power Windows-Power Door Locks-Cruise Control-Driver’s air bag-Power Seats- both front and rear!-Linen seat covers-Rear Power Privacy Curtains-Economy/Normal/Power driving modes
Interior rise, the car still looks and smells great. The dash is completely clean, no cracks. Velour seats are in great shape, looking like new. The interior is completely original and takes you back in time to the late 80s at the height of Japan’s bubble economy. She’s a very comfortable car, 4 adults can ride her in absolute serenity as the air suspension help mitigate bumps and the thick velour seats let you just sink inside them.
The car is equipped with the bulletproof 4.0 liter Toyota 1UZ-FE V8. This is the exact same engine that was put in the Lexus LS400’s in the 90s here in the states, and as a result, it is very easy to get parts for- despite the car being a JDM vehicle. This engine is known to be one of the best built V8’s in history, and its combination of reliability and power makes it the perfect engine for this car. She runs like a champ.
Mechanically the car is perfect, and all electronics work. Only issues are: tires are a little older (have a good amount of thread, just starting to dry rot) and the car could use an alignment after the tires are changed. Body is rust-free, but there is a minimal amount of surface rust on the under carriage- nothing too deep.
Air condition blows ice cold- I just had it serviced and it is ready for the summer! Honestly, this is the best A/C I have ever experienced in a car. The last service I had done on the car:-Oil and filter change-Fluids changed-New air filter-New battery-New spark plugs-A/C Service
Included with this classic car is the original owners manual and service booklet- the car was meticulously maintained for its entire life in Japan.
This is a very rare car to be seen in the U.S, as it is was never offered for sale here in the states- you are guaranteed the only one to be driving this truly unique and awesome machine on the road. . One drive in the classy and comfortable cruiser and you will fall in love, just like I did when she first arrived. If you have been looking for something different to stand out from the crown- you’ve found your car. And it is reliable and comfortable enough to also be used as a daily driver, or road trip cruiser. Your call.
Thanks for looking, good luck on bidding! And yes, the car is legally titled here in the U.S, and ready to be registered by the new owner- however California buyers beware- it is very difficult to get the car legally registered in this state (no problem for non-op, however). It can be transferred to any of the other 49 states without any issue.
