1986 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon New Paint, NO RESERVE Description

Relisted. Winning bidder's wife cannot drive manual. Make sure your wife or significant can drive manual.
Selling this well cared for 1986 Volkswagen Vanagon GL Westfalia. Finished in white on brown and is in good condition. Recent paint job that was a window out, trim out, high quality job at a cost of over $4,000. The pop top was painted during the repaint too and treated with new seals, all the way around. The motor was rebuilt by the previous owner's mother during an outing in the desert. The motor rebuild was performed by a factory trained Volkswagen technician at an astounding cost of over $4,000, ten years ago. It has not had much use since then. It has every curtain and screen, including the elusive skylight screen. Both beds are clean and pet free. It is ready to go camping today. All the camping equipment is present and accounted for. The stove and sink work great. The fridge has a mind of of its own and was not very usable even when new. All the A/C components are present and will either need a recharge or conversion to blow cold. It blows cool presently. It rides on Van Cafe South African alloys with Michelin tires. Wheel package was over $1000. The Michelin's have deep tread. Brakes are good. The water pump and cooling lines all the way up to the radiator have been changed. It has a new catalytic converter. As you can see, it was well loved and cared for. Non-smoking, non-pet riding Westfalia. Adult owned and loved by the same family for over 20 years. The pop top tent is extremely usable with a slight five inch tear at the rear by the hatch. I will patch this for the new owner. The zippered window unzips and zips with ease. The top bunk is clean and had a sheet on it at all times. The dash is free of crack and has a dash cover on it. Words just cannot describe the care and condition of this gem. I have taken two videos of the Westfalia so any and all prospective buyers can get a good idea of the condition and care it was given. Selling for NO RESERVE.
