1987 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon GL WESTFALIA Description

Up for sale is this 1987 Vanagon full Westfalia Camper. This Vanagon runs and drives well and I wouldn't hesitate to get in and drive it across the country. All electrical functions well, with the exception of the cruise control and dash clock: All exterior lights, turn signals, interior lights, horn, heater and defrost fans, radio, lighter, wipers and other items all function.All camper equipment works as it should and is complete: 3 way fridge, stove, and sink all function properly. Curtains and glides are complete and the snap in front curtain, rear mosquito net, and skylight curtain/net are included. Both front seats are swivel models and the drivers front seat track has had the modification done to adjust for taller drivers.Air conditioning blows cold and has had a recent overhaulwith the addition of a new compressor, belt, and R134 upgrade. Other recent work and new additions include: new 3 window acrylic pop top canvas, pop top seals, skylight, 15" rims,Nokian tires, gas tank reseal, V-belts, and more. This Vanagon has no rust or signs of anyserious accidents. Paint appears to be mostly original and well cared for. All glass is in good condition with the exception of some minor rock chips in the front windshield as most have. All original keys (as well as extras) are included: doors (one key works all door locks and ignition), glovebox, and water tank.
This Vanagon has been well cared for by the previous owner and it shows. I have owned and drivenmany of these and this one is in as good of condition, and drives as well as one with 100k miles.
This Westfalia is currently registered and includes a clear California title, current transferable California smog certificate, extra sets of keys, original owners manual, and other original accessory/factory items as seen in the photos.
