2005 Volkswagen Beetle-New GLS Convertible Description

Engine actually runs very good. 1.8L turbo. No problem with that. However, needs new transmission valve body. Drives great when cold, but starts to shift bad when hot. Typical failure mode of this trans. Many rebuilt units have fixed the inherent problems. The original fluid showed no problem and pan was very clean when Iopened it to check filter. Valve body currently removed. Will need tow.

GLS trim. PW, PL, PM, CC, AM/FM/CD w/changer. A/C works great. Heated leatherseats for cold weather. Remote keyless entry.strong brakes. All the electrical works as normal. All the windows work fine, either with master switch or individually. Both front auto down for open and close door works. Great radio with CD / Changer.

Only 75k carfax verified miles. Great project for someone with some basic skill and some time. Probably ~$750 in parts all together.

Includes convertible cover and anti-wind screen that installs in the back seat area.

Current smog, current tags (8/2017), title in my name in hand ready to go.
