Super Rare 1982 VW SCIROCCO

Hi everybody! Up for sale is a very rare 1982 VW SCIROCCO 5spd coupe originally designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro (designer of the eerily similar 1981 Delorean DMC-12 from BACK TO THE FUTURE). Original silver paint (the clear coat is coming off). Original 1982 license plates.Super fun car to drive with lots of pep. It has been my daily driver for the last year and been very reliable and great on gas (31 mpg city!) 159,000 miles on the odometer that stopped working about 300 miles ago. OriginalBlaupunkt Monterrey radio (cassette not working)). New pioneer speakers front and rear. All original blue plaid interior in good shape with only a cigarette burn passenger rear and small rip on drivers seat. Headliner in very good shape. Small tear on passenger side.All the glass is original and immaculate. It has the original single key for the ignition both doors and the hatch! Rare factory A/C (never got going) Very little surface rust on underside of bumpers. Small ding beneath back license plate. Other than that- super straight, very original vehicle.

This is a great example of a totally stock first year production car. It is hard to find one this complete and original. I have been driving Volkswagens of all kinds for 25 years- this one is really special. I got all kinds of extras including the four piece blue fiber mats in photos and another deluxe set from Lloyds Mats and an extra plush carpet kit in beautiful midnight blue from Auto Custom Carpets (total value- over $500 bucks)

Also included is new OEM mud flap set. A black dash carpet and two steering wheels that will also work on this car.A leather 1984 944 Porsche and a molded rubber one off a 1983 golf.Also I recently sewed on that custom red perforated steering wheel cover from Wheelskins (the wheel underneath is fine).
