2004 Volkswagen Jetta GL 1.9l TDI Description

This is a one owner car that has been regularly serviced at the same dealership we purchased it from . It has provide many years of trouble free service, but is now in need of some TLC.
Recently, the transmission valve body had a solenoid go bad, preventing the reverse gear from engaging. All other gears work fine. Also, while parked in front of our house, someone backed into the front, putting a dent in the hood (see picture for details).
We were planing on repairing it and giving the car to our son, but he has other plans, so we've decided to sell it as is.
The engine runs like new. It gets great mileage and is surprisingly powerful. All electronics work and the rest of the body is in good condition (with some scuffs and scrapes from parking lots). The rims and tires are recent. It has a CD / Tape deck radio with a aux connection into the trunk. The interior is good for the age with no rips.
