2004 Volkswagen Jetta GLI Description

This car in in amazing shape and is perfect for any enthusiast. New paint! I want to sell it to someone who will appreciate it as much as I have. I have done 90% of all of the maintenance to the vehicle minus changing the paint, clutch, and a.c. repairs. I have almost every part receipt and work receipt including tires and other services.
Reason for selling it? I bought a slightly used vehicle that is more practical for my commute to work. I no longer need the CAR or 2 vehicles.
Synthetic oil changed every 4,000 miles with a new filter. NGK BKR7E Spark plugs changed every other oil change. Tires almost new and rotated every oil change.
January 2017 thermostat housing was replaced with an OEM part. January 2017, OEM brake booster vacuum line replaced. January 2017, y pipe replaces with 034 motorsports silicone pipe. November 2016 The engine bay was cleaned up and some parts were repainted for show. Battery replaced in the fall. November 2016 the car was repainted from the front fender to the other front fender. This did not include the front bumper or hood. Also the roof was rewrapped gloss black. Oil change November 2016 new OEM Bora R side skirts and OEM rear bumper cover.Used and fully restored glove box was installed Oct 2016. October 2016 the tint was redone at 20% through a lifetime warranty. Toyo Proxes Tires were added in the summer or early fall of 2016. Summer 2016 the entire ECG system was replaced at Gunther VW with all OEM parts. April 2016 the AC system was changed by a shop called Davie Motors which specialize in German automobiles. All A.C. parts are OEM from Gunther . Stage 1 South Bend Clutch and clutch master cylinder changed January 2015. The carpet and headliner has been changed by the dealer a few years ago due to a sunroof drain recall and is in new condition. I have every service record and or part receipt on hand. Recently changed the front shock bushings and bearings to Power Flex polly pieces in January 2016. Front control arm bushings changed to Power Flex polly bushings April 2015. April 20I15 changed the driver side window control panel to a new one. New coolant ball, thermostat, thermostat housing, and coolant January 2015. OEM Hella headlights added September 2012 and the still look like new! OEM rear Jetta factory all red tail lights added 2013. New serpentine belt and tensioner Dec 2015. Timing belt and water pump changed January 11th 2013.
Car purchased 2008 with 65,xxx miles on it. It currently has 149,xxx miles, mostly Highway. I drove this car to high school for 2 years on a 20 mile round trip. since 2010 I have been on and off with classes in college which is another 20 mile round trip. The other miles put on are from home to work which is all highway.

Cons:
- Driver side vent works but you can not direct the air flow up or down. The right center vent has the same issue except in this case you can move the slot by hand.
- Passenger front has no speakers.
- The ac vents blow on the top and bottom when placed in any position via the a/c control knob.

The car was involved in a hit and run accident on May 23rd 2011. The good thing is the front bumper, driver side door, driver side fender was replaced by Gunther through the insurance. There are no passenger side front speakers. Car was involved in a minor unreported accident on DEC 24th 2016. A car stopped short upon making a right turn. I struck the Suv which had a tire mounted on it and I dented the hood, fender and broke the passenger headlight lens but it still works flawlessly. Ac vents blow up top and on bottom when swithed toany position. The doors only lock and unlock with the key in the door although the trunk pops with The key fob or the inside switch. Sometimes the door needs to be locked/unlocked to open.A couple of the custom door car is have minor cracks in the red center leaf.
