OVERVIEW:
This car was originally purchased on valentine's day 1963 in southern California By the prior owner.I purchased this vehicle less than 2 years ago from my parent's neighbor from my childhood home. When I picked up the car I was surprised when she gave me all the receipts of just about anything and everything ever done to it, even has the original Warranty and maintenance booklet.Still have original vw keys and original black plates. The car has never been in an accident only a fender bender, it still has all the original windows.According to receipts the motor was rebuilt in 2008 and less than 1000 miles were put on it before she stored it in her garage.I just had the original transmission rebuilt a few months back. She has been repainted her original color of teal green and new body panel gaskets installed..(gaskets around windows not replaced)I had all the brakes redoneBattery and starter were replaced (still has the original 6 volt system). The headliner had already been replaced as well as the door panels.Everything in this car pretty much works, the blinkers, windshield wipers, horn, headlights, gas gauge, speedometer, radio-(sometimes).She drives and sounds real nice and is a head turner wherever she goes, lots of original chrome and a shiny new paint job.She is very reliable and could easily be a daily driver.Car has been garaged for most of its life. She is very clean and she drives real nice.

ISSUES:
Floor pan on passenger side needs to be replaced.Small chip in windshield-has been there for over 25 years and hasn't gotten any larger.Drivers seat has hole in headrest side.Am radio works at times.Blinkers turn on but you have to manually turn them off-just needs adjusting.Front passenger side tire needs replacing-I have been driving it but I wouldn't recommend freeway driving until tire is replaced.Interior passenger door panel is loose.New starter and battery were just installed and car wouldn't crank over without first installing a direct switch from battery to starter, now it starts with no issues but sometimes restarting it can be take a few tries, I took it back to shop that installed it and they found no problems on the day they had it-it is still under warranty
