1975 Volkswagen Bus. Type 2 Bay Window. New Motor. Queen Bed. Minimal Rust.
1975 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Bay WIndow Description
I have a 1975 VW Type II Bus for sell. It runs, shifts, drives, and stops well. In the last couple of months it's had a lot of work done, about $4,500 dollars worth, I have receipts. Brand new rebuilt motor from Gex Intl. It was professionally installed by a VW speciality garage. It currently has 500 miles on it since the install but will go up. It's an upgrade from the original 1800cc. The new motor is a 2.0 L and has hydraulic lifters so you wont have to worry about adjusting valves. The motor has dual weber carbs sitting on top. The bus will get to 70mph pretty quickly(for a bus) and hold it down the highway. I havent tried to push it past 70 since the new motor has been in but it should do a little more. It has a bed kit. The bench seat pulls up and makes a queen size bed. It has a TV mount that will hold up to a 40" neatly tucked out of the way. The pictures and receipts do most of the talking. I've highlighted the only real rust in the pictures, you wont find any surprises upon delivery. Originally orange and white but obviously repainted at some point. Most of the frame undercoating is still in place. It is a lot cleaner than most of the 40 year old VW buses you see. I will send more pictures of anything you want, just ask. I will do my best to answer any questions, just ask. With the new motor and minimal typical rust its well above average. It's in lone star, tx. I will meet with you or a shipper anytime. Thanks.
