2003 VOLKSWAGEN NEW BEETLW CONVERTIBLE TURBO GLS

This is a great opportunity to obtain a highly desirable Volkswagen Beetle Convertible in flashy red with the GLS Turbo package. Please look closely at the pictures so you can get a good idea what this VW is all about. Let me cover the issues as I see them. The Convertible top rear window (back glass) has come loose from the canvas. I believe this can be reattached as I have seen other VW’s that had this problem and were repaired. The canvas itself is ok with no rips, cuts or tears. The convertible top does not go down. The previous owner may have disconnected the electric to prevent further damage. The right door glass does not work. Various lights in the dash are on. Check engine etc. Last it will not shift into 5th gear. The performance of the car is great and the trans and clutch with the exception of no 5th gear is also superb, in fact it is really fun to drive. I am sure there may be other minor issues. Now the bottom line – “price”. I am listing this VW Beetle GLS Turbo with a reserve that is less than NADA rough trade, so be prepared to own it. .
