2003 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Description

The vehicle is equipped with the following features:

• Color: Galactic Blue
• 2.0 L engine with automatic transmission.
• Leather seats.
• Remote keyless power door locks.
• Power windows and mirrors.
• Cruise control and power steering.
• Tilt and telescopic steering wheel.
• Air conditioning.
• 4-wheel ABS.
• AM/FM stereo with 10 speakers.
• Power convertible roof.
• Alloy 16” wheels.
• Two remote entry keys

The BAD News:

The vehicle has been inspected by a local mechanic in order to give a complete and accurate description of its condition. According to the inspection,the vehicle has thefollowing mechanical issues that require service:

• Check engine light just came on. Found to be a O2 sensor error code. Replaced one of the O2 sensors in hopes that the check engine light would be removed. Check engine light went off and came back on. Was informed that the other O2 sensor would need to be replaced. (possible $175 part?).
• Needs a new heater core. Does have some heat blowing out. Not exceptionally hot as it should be.
• Passenger side window has started to not close properly every time it is engaged. Currently the window is up and running, but may need tohave the window regulatorreplaced eventually.
• Back window had a small leak around the glass, and was taped up. (see photo).I have the window rubber seal that goes around the entire window to fix the issue, just have not had time to put it on. Will put with the car when purchased.
• Hood has small dent as shown in pictures. Front Hood does stay closed correctly regardless.

Now the good stuff:

Convertible top is inalmost perfectcondition. Works completely and accurately every time. Also have convertible top cover to hold top down when down on vehicle. ($350 part). No tears or rips on either top.

Rear smaller drivers side window regulatorwas replaced a few months ago. ($800 part). Window goes down as expected.

Car has been inspected until March 2016.

Comes with car cover in grey to keep the dust and rain off.

I also have the brand neworiginal Volkswagen Beetle emblem partfor the rear trunk. Needs to be put on, as the old one has fallen off. Will give with car purchase.

Tires are in good shape. Brakes were replaced when purchased last summer. Car runs well, no other mechanical issues that we are aware of. This is my daughter's car and is being sold as is.

Additionally, the vehicle has the following cosmetic issues:

• The interiorreardoor panels in the rear seats, have been scratched and has pulled away from the door in places. (please see photos).
• The driver's rear side interiorplastic panel is cracked and has been glued together.It does not affect door, window or convertible top function. (see photo).
• Hood has small dent as shown in pictures. Front Hood does stay closed correctly.
• Rear ash tray compartment(part of middle console)does not close completely, and has tape on it.
