SELLING MY BABY...........1964 VW Bus This is a total custom.built over 6 years and over 6000 hrs,the original bus started as a rough window bus that was in the bush for over 40 years.The 21 window roof came out of Wisconsin. Because the bus was so rough we grafted on the 21 window roo, chopped it 5 1/2 inches and added the back 4th window on the side along with a 55Chevy dash.We also built back barn door, which these buses never came with ! Sits on a refurbished s 10 frame shortene, rear springs remove, and replaced with 1940 ford raduis bar, ajustable coil overs and a panhard ba, custom gas tank,(fills when rear doors are open) rear drums, front disc, drop spindles, american racing rims ..torque thrust,power brakes& steering,4 cor aluminum rad with electric fan,Total keyless entry with door poppers, headlights with turn signals,safari windows,suside front doors,power remote gull wing side door,rear doors.The front bumperetts are 49 Merc and the center tooth is 64 Impala,39 ford Tail lights,model A bumper with hide away frame hitch,The motor is a 1964 Chevy 283 with a 700 r transmission,hurst rachet shifter,headman headers,eldelbrock intake,600 Holly glass pac exhaust, electronic egnition,sun super tac This bus runs great and can be driven any where .Almost ready for paint sitting in apoxy primer, Still needs roof glass and ragtop and your own custom interior This turns heads EVERY WHERE YOU DRIVE!
